Amrita Folk Arts Research and Training  Academy 

The Cultural heritage of India can be vividly seen and experienced only in our Villages. Apart from imparting knowledge, preservation and transmission of culture and heritage is also equally important for an educational institution especially Teacher Education Institutions.

Understanding this cultural and social responsibility our management has established one Amrita Folk Art  Research and Training Academy. Most of our faculties trained in one or several Folk arts like Silambam, Kolattam, Oyilattam, Garagattam, Silambattam etc. 

Free training in these Folk Arts and Folk Dances are given to our college students as well students from nearby schools and the general public.
